Exciting Diplomatic and Business Developments at the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce (#SACC)! 🌟
On September 12, 2024, SACC had the distinct honor of welcoming His Excellency Mr. Tenzin Rondel Wangchuk, #Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bhutan to Switzerland and Permanent Representative to the #UnitedNations, and his delegation, including Counsellor Mr. Passang Dorji, to SACC Zurich office.

The agenda was centered on Bhutan’s impressive strides in sustainability and the promotion of Bhutan's mindfulness city, along with exploring investment opportunities in Bhutan. Known for its commitment to sustainability, Bhutan stands as one of the world's first carbon-negative countries.
In August 2023, SACC had the pleasure of visiting Bhutan, and had pleasure meeting with the KingBhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck discussing on the topic of sustainability. During this visit, SACC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kingdom of Bhutan and proposed several collaborative projects. Bhutan is currently focused on fostering prosperity in various sectors, including green energy,spirituality, integrative medicine, education, finance, and agriculture.
📅 Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that in 2025, during the Davos WEF, SACC will be welcoming a delegation from the Kingdom of Bhutan. Stay tuned for more updates!
